Combining both wavelengths enables precise tailoring of the laser–tissue interaction to optimize recovery time, minimize side effects, and ensure reliable vein closure.
The energy delivery can be adapted to each vein’s diameter, wall thickness, and proximity to nerves or other sensitive structures, allowing controlled thermal confinement. This dual-wavelength approach effectively limits lateral heat diffusion into surrounding tissue, thereby further reducing pain, hematomas, and nerve irritation.
