Minimally invasive laser treatments for women’s well-being

Modern laser therapy has much to offer for the minimally invasive treatment of delicate areas. In gynecology, specific applications include the laser treatment of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, hysteroscopic and colposcopic treatments, and vaginal rejuvenation.

Superior Technology For Better Outcomes

Benefits of the technology

Minimally invasive laser procedures are a patient-friendly treatment option in gynecology, leading to a better patient experience:

  • Effective at preserving female fertility
  • Quality of life improvement
  • Safer for patients
  • Faster
  • Painless
  • Low risk

Applications

We have developed specific treatment options that use advanced laser technology in the field of gynecology. Our medical laser products come with detailed instructions for the procedures.

Endometriosis (ELLA®)

This technique allows for effective treatment of all endometriotic foci in the abdominal cavity and is ideal for the treatment of ovarian endometriosis without compromising female fertility.
The LEONARDO® Dual laser is the tool for a minimally invasive treatment for both superficial and deep endometriosis.

Polyps, Myomas, Uterine Septum (HoLA®)

The HoLA® laser technique is designed for the outpatient removal of polyps, fibroids, and uterine septa without anesthesia and without hospital admission. It uses dedicated optical fibers to maximize results and shorten operating times.

Vaginal rejuvenation (LaEvita)

The painless solution for women’s problems related to sexuality, urinary incontinence, and vaginal pain. The LEONARDO® Dual laser is capable of restoring the natural tone of the vaginal mucosa and stimulating collagen production through 3 outpatient sessions of 10 minutes each.

Further applications for laser gynecology

To complete the broad range of applications, other possible gynecological procedures are possible with our lasers and fibers:

  • Colposcopy
  • Condylomata

Superior Technology For Better Outcomes

It is a very versatile laser platform; in fact, it is also used for operative hysteroscopies in the outpatient setting, also for conization, for vaporization of cervicovaginal dysplasia and condylomata, for the treatment of vaginal atrophy and stress urinary incontinence in both young and menopausal women.

Products

LEONARDO® DUAL 45

The LEONARDO® Dual 45 W laser is a versatile tool that can be used across hysteroscopies, laparoscopic applications, colposcopies, and vaginal rejuvenation procedures. A compact and affordable laser that offers the power you need, operating with the ideal wavelength combination of 1470 nm and 980 nm.

ELLA® Click Fiber

For non-contact laparoscopic applications, we recommend the ELLA® Click Fiber. It is the ideal solution for a gentle treatment of ovarian endometrioma without damaging the ovarian parenchyma and the follicular reserve. Ideal for preserving female fertility in young women.

MyoFibers®

For contact applications, in cases of deep endometriosis and in all cases where tissue dissection is required, we recommend MyoFiber® CS.
For hysteroscopic treatments, on the other hand, the most suitable fiber is the MyoFiber® CA with its ability to cut and vaporize in contact with polyps, fibroids, and uterine septum.

Frequent Questions

Are there trainings to learn laser procedures in gynecology?

We offer frequent training courses for practitioners. They are open to anyone who wants to learn more about the principles of laser use in gynecology. Contact us to find out about upcoming trainings and to reserve your spot.

What is the best fiber for hysteroscopy?

Myofiber CA is the best tool for cutting polyps, uterine fibroids, and uterine septa without causing bleeding. All procedures are performed with rigid 5F hysteroscopes.

Are there instruments that can help in laparoscopic applications to reach the abdominal cavity?

We offer both rigid straight instruments and bending instruments for hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and laparotomic approaches. The laparoscopic bending instrument is very useful, especially in the most delicate stages of your surgery. Contact us to discover our laparoscopic accessories.

Can the laser also be used in laparotomy?

Yes. The LEONARDO® Dual laser is highly valued even in laparotomy due to its cutting precision and accurate coagulation.

Can the laser procedures in gynecology also be performed on an outpatient basis?

Uterine polyps, uterine septa, condylomas, low genital tract dysplasias, vaginal atrophy, and GSM of menopause can all be performed on an outpatient basis.

What is the difference between contact and non-contact fibers/laser applications in gynecology?

Contact fibers (such as Myofiber® CA and Myofiber® CS for gynecological applications) are applied directly to the tissue and are used for cuts, whereas non-contact fibers (such as ELLA® click fibers) are held above the tissue, while the laser beam enters the tissue at a distance. The non-contact approach is ideally suited for ablation and coagulation.
