LHP® Fiber
The fiber designed for Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty.
LHP® – Designed for maximum preservation of muscle, anal canal lining, and mucosa
When reduction of the hemorrhoidal cushion is indicated, whether segmental or circular, this therapy can deliver better patient outcomes, particularly in terms of pain and recovery, compared with conventional surgery for second- and fourth-degree hemorrhoids. Under proper local or general anesthesia, the controlled laser energy deposition obliterates the nodes from the inside and preserves the mucosa and sphincter structures to an extremely high degree.
The LHP® fiber was specifically developed for this application. The controlled emission of laser energy, which is applied submucosally, causes the hemorrhoidal mass to shrink. In addition, fibrotic reconstruction generates new connective tissue, which ensures that the mucosa adheres to the underlying tissue. Healing is excellent because, unlike conventional surgeries, there are no incisions or stitches. Access is achieved by entering through a small perianal port.
The LHP® Revo fiber is designed to reduce carbonization risk and, at the same time, to allow a larger and cylindrical work zone compared to LHP® Standard.
The special fiber design allows a painless treatment with
- no incisions
- no excisions
- no open wounds
- controlled hemorrhoidal shrinkage
