Cellulite
Cellulite has become a big issue. About 80 percent of women have unwanted fat on the hips, buttocks and thighs - irrespective of age. Many processes in vogue today are not so effective.
The mechanism by which cellulite emerges is quite well known. Fat cells get deposited between tissue binding fibers and protrude under the skin surface due to lack of space. That is how typical humps and fat is formed.
South American and Hungarian beauty surgeons have developed a new approach of smooting the skin. Very promising results were achieved in the preliminary applications.
Their approach is to inject the photo-dynamic active agent Temoporfin into the sub-cutaneous tissue. The active agent is activated by exposing the skin to radiation from a suitable lamp. The light penetrates up to the sub-cutaneous fat tissue, where the activated active agent then modulates different cell components.
This leads to better blood circulation in the tissue and to a tight and smooth skin.
